Stamping parts

Stamping parts in fasteners are components created through the process of stamping

Stamping parts in fasteners refer to components produced through the process of stamping, which involves cutting, shaping, and forming metal sheets into specific shapes using a press and die. Parts that are related to the stamping process include washers, retaining rings, U nuts, cage nuts, and mounting brackets. This is a highly efficient and cost-effective manufacturing method used to create large quantities of identical parts with high precision and accuracy. Stamping offers several advantages, such as fast production rates, high accuracy, repeatability, and material utilization, making it a widely adopted manufacturing technique for mass production of parts.

Common types of stamping parts in fasteners

  • Flat Washer - thin, flat, circular components with a hole in the center.
  • Spring Clips - is a type of fastening device designed to securely hold two or more components together.
  • Split Lock Washer -This type of lock washer has a split cut from one end to the center, creating a helical shape.
  • Tooth Lock Washer - Toothed lock washers feature internal or external teeth around the inner or outer circumference.
  • L shape Brackets - is a right-angle support used to provide structural stability and secure components together at a 90-degree angle.
  • Retaining Clips - are a type of fastener used to hold components or assemblies onto a shaft or inside a housing/bore when installed in a groove.

  • Material - Spring steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass
  • Finish types - Zinc plated silver, phosphated black, plain finish
